NOTICE OF MEETING

 

Highlands County Economic Development Office:

will hold a special presentation on:

 

July 11, 2019, at 2:30 p.m.

South Florida State College - University Center Auditorium

600 West College Dr., Avon Park, FL 33825

 

To present the findings of the Duke Energy Site Readiness Program.

 

ALL INTERESTED PERSONS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND.

 

The function is not a meeting of any board, council or commission. One or more County Commissioners may be present at the meeting as well as one or more Industrial Development Authority Members, Economic Development Commission Members, Avon Park City Council Members, Sebring City Council Members, Lake Placid Town Council Members, School Board of Highlands County Members, Highlands County Constitutional Officers, CareerSource Heartland Members, and other boards not listed.

 

Any person who might wish to appeal any decision made by the Industrial Development Authority of Highlands County, Florida, in public hearing or meeting is hereby advised that he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which will include the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based. The Industrial Development Authority of Highlands County, Florida, does not discriminate upon the basis of any individual's disability status.  This non-discrimination policy involves every aspect of the Board's functions, including one's access to, participation, employment or treatment in its programs or activities.
