Ag Community Hit Hard by Hurricane Ian

The Florida Farm Bureau is working diligently to assess damage to farms across southwest and central Florida and provide farmers with resources.

Farmers across the state are facing flooding, significant fruit drop, major infrastructure damager. To read the latest damage assessment, visit the Florida Farm Bureau website here: Hurricane Ian Devastates Southwest Florida Agriculture - Florida Farm Bureau

The Florida Farm Bureau has also compiled a list of resources which can be found here: Hurricane Ian Resources - Florida Farm Bureau. These resources include trucking waivers, animal movement waivers, insurance information, and loan information. The Farm Bureau encourages all farmers who have experienced loss and damage to report the effects of Hurricane Ian via the UF/IFAS Assessment Survey, which can be found here: Qualtrics Survey | Qualtrics Experience Management.
